Paul L. Hand

Paul L. Hand, 89, of Plainfield, passed away June 12, 2013. He was born November 6, 1923 in Indianapolis to the late Robert and Dorothy Hand. Paul was the former owner of Hand's Standard Service from 1953-1985. He also owned Car Care from 1985-1993 and PH Landfill from 1993-2007. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, June 18, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Alice Hand; daughter, Dottie (Jim) Hobbs; son, Mark Hand; sister, Mae Winsted; grandchildren, Rachel (Brian)Nysewander-Pace, Rebecca (Scot) Nysewander-McFarland, Josh (Megan) Hand, Matt Hand and Evan Hobbs; 9 great grandchildren.
