Bobby A. Burdine

Bobby A. Burdine, 74, of Hazelwood, passed away May 31, 2013. He was born July 15, 1938 to the late Bee and Myrtle (Brannon) Burdine in Somerset, KY. He was a painter for United Technologies in Indianapolis for 32 years retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Hazelwood Baptist Church. Bobby is survived by his wife, Barbara A. (Mink) Burdine; a son, Bobby J. (Kathy) Burdine; a brother, Hollis Burdine; two sisters, Levon Gammon and Bertie Bingham; and two grandsons, Tim and Ryan Burdine. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Haskel and Herman Burdine, and a sister, Delore Keeler. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 4. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
