Daisy M. Wright

Daisy M. Wright, 100, of Plainfield, passed away May 21, 2013. She was born October 5, 1912 to the late Fred and Molly Price in Breman, AL. She was a dietician for Ben Davis High School for 10 years retiring in 1964. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield and the Bridgeport OES. She is survived by a son, Ken (Rhonda) Wright; a daughter, Margie (Fred) Amich; 5 grandchildren, Kerry (Chris) Reifel, Kurt Wright, Dan Amich, Lisa Holmes and Doug (Susan) Amich; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Wright; a great grandson, Mitchell Tavel; two brothers, John and Lonnie Albritten; and a sister, Margaret Hansen. Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm Friday, May 24, 2013 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday from 4:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm. Entombment will be on Saturday at 11:00 am at Washington Park East Cemetery.
