Meade T. Bryant

Meade T. Bryant, 93, of Plainfield, IN. passed away March 31, 2008. He was born May 25, 1914 in Orange, CA. to the late Horace and Hallie (Tiller) Bryant. He retired in 1981 after 29 years in machine set up for Detroit Diesel Allison. He also owned Bryant Studio in Plainfield for 40 years retiring in 1980. His memberships include the National Model Railroad Association where he was a life member and the American Theatre Organ Society. Meade attended Calvary Bible Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 2 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Marie (Jones) Bryant; son, David M. Bryant; step son, Conrad Burney; brothers, Bill and Paul Bryant; sisters, June McBeth and Consuelo Bryant. Survivors include a son and wife; Steve and Karen Bryant; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
