George H. Knight Sr.

George H. Knight Sr., 72, of Plainfield, passed away March 27, 2008. He was born May 24, 1935 to the late Hugh and Florence (Emery) Knight in Windsor, Canada. He served in the US Army. He was a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines for 30 years retiring in 1990. George is survived by his wife, Judy B. (Miller) Knight; son, George H. Knight Jr; two daughters, Shelly L. Ernst and Jacqueline J. Wilson; a brother, Thomas Rutherford; and 8 grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 7:30 pm Monday March 31, 2008 at the Plainfield Friends Meeting, 105 S. East St. where the visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until service time on Monday.
