Eva M. Thompson

Eva M. Thompson, 94, of Plainfield, passed away March 16, 2013. She was born March 7, 1919. She lived in Plainfield for 47 years her last years in Indianapolis. She worked for Eli Lilly Co for 37 years retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Ben Davis Christian Church. Eva was fondly known as the squirrel and hugging lady. She is survived by a daughter, Sandy (Robert) Meadors; nieces and nephews, Michael, Mark and Jeff Monar, Marralee Ruark, Lee Monar, Pat Till, Pat and Jim Nemeth, Susie Plummer, and two son-in laws, Larry White and Bob Meadors. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday, March 19, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial, Floral Park Cemetery. Following the internment, food sharing for family and friends will be at Hummel Park in Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Ben Davis Christian Church.
