Albert E. "Bud" Chandler, 98, of Plainfield, passed away March 13, 2013. He was born June 20, 1914 to the late Alex and Clara (Glendenning) Chandler in Hendricks County, IN. He was a die setter for GM Chevrolet Truck & Bus Plant for 30 years retiring in 1976. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield, the Belleville Masonic Lodge and the Plainfield Odd Fellows. Albert is survived by two sons, Paul (Alice) and Charles Chandler; three daughters, Judith Young, Clara (Charles) Bravard and Linda Bravard; two step-sons, Roger Chandler and Terry (Kimberly) Cordry; two step-daughters, Joanne Patrick and Beverly Chandler; a sister, Marie Hopkins; 28 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 31 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Chandler and a daughter, Betty Sue Chandler. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Monday, March 18, 2013 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Sunday, March 17 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
