Luther Anderson

Luther Anderson, 88, of Clayton, passed away March 2, 2013. He was born November 29, 1924, in Woodstock, KY to the late John and Eva Anderson. He was a millwright and master welder retiring after 27 years with Union Carbide. Luther was a member of the Belleville Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minta L. (Minnie) Anderson. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 7, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, March 6, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery. Survivors include his daughters, Linda S. Anderson, Jeanne L. Monday, Joyce A. Hammond and Carol L. (Kevin) Martin; sister, Nellie Barron; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
