Alice Patricia Brooks

Alice Patricia Brooks, 91, of Plainfield, passed away January 24, 2013. She was born February 11, 1921 to the late Angelo and Louise Savio in Winona, MN. She was a registered nurse for 47 years retiring in 1990. She is survived by a son, Brad Brooks; a daughter, Joetta (Tom) Strickland; 6 grandchildren, Lisa (Wally)Warburton, Todd (Gerri) Hoffman, Ben (Uma) Strickland, Amy (Scott) Peck, Jennifer (Jerry) Padgett and Brittany Brooks; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brooks and a daughter, Sue Hoffman Frazee. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday January 25, 2013 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. A private graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Terre Haute on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
