Mabel G. Benge

Mabel G. Benge, 91, of Plainfield, formerly of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away February 10, 2008. She was born September 26, 1916 to the late David and Armentha (Belle) Williams in Kokomo, IN. She worked 30 years at Link Belt FMC retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Cleveland United Methodist Church while in Florida. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie P. (Jim) Bell; 4 grandchildren, Rick (Debbie) Bell, Sherie (Doug) Howard, Beth Ann Grimes, and Jim (Sherri) Bell; 7 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, and 2 great great granddaughters. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Benge. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday February 13, 2008 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday February 12. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery, Indianapolis.
