Sam David Hutchins

Sam D. Hutchins, 66, of Plainfield, passed away December 21, 2012. He was born March 21, 1946 in Greencastle, IN to the late Glen Sr. and Bertha Hutchins. Sam was a retired realtor and auctioneer in Hendricks County for 43 years retiring in 2008. His memberships include Plainfield F&AM # 653 and Hendricks County Antique Farm Machinery Association. He was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Lane. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Friday, December 28, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Center Valley Cemetery, Belleville. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hutchins; son, David (Whitney) Hutchins; brother, Glen Hutchins Jr.; granddaughter, Emily Hutchins; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Gathering Together.
