Betty L. Price

Betty L. Price, 87, of Plainfield, passed away December 16, 2012 in Manor Care of Prestwick, Avon. She was born December 26, 1924 in Sidney, IL to the late Leland and Lola (Wright) Clark. She was a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting. Betty was the head cook at Plainfield High Schoool for 10 years and then she became a warranty manager for Factory Claims Company in Plainfield retiring in 1982. Funeral services will be Friday, December 21, at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call Thursday, December 20, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by siblings, Eugene, Roger Clark and Doris Gilbert. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Price; daughters, Carol Wubbolding and Brenda (Bob) Gootee; brother, Mervin Clark; sister, Patricia Flanagan; 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
