Leonard W. Poninski

Leonard W. Poninski, 79, of Plainfield, passed away December 7, 2012. He was born May 8, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Wanda Poninski. He was an Army veteran. He was a retired teacher for Henry Clay Elementary School in Chicago. Memorial services will be Monday, December 10, 2012 in Roland's Golden Memories Retirement Club (855 Southfield Drive, Plainfield) at 2:00 pm where friends may call from 1:00 pm until service time. He was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane L. (Hannagan) Poninski and a brother, Ronald Poninski. Survivors include daughters Lori M. Carlson and Leanne M. Gallion; 3 grandchildren.
