William H. Eaton

William H. Eaton, 86, of Plainfield, passed away November 9, 2012. He was born January 25, 1926 to the late Homer and Elizabeth (Lewis) Eaton in Clinton, IN. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. In the 1950's he was a volunteer firefighter for the Plainfield Fire Department. He was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church and a life member of the Boy Scouts of America and the American Legion. William was a ticket agent for TWA for 31 years retiring in 1981. He also owned William H. Eaton Insurance Agency in Plainfield from 1981 until he retired in 1992. He is survived by his wife, Beverly L. (Scott) Eaton; a son, Kevin Robert (Sheila) Eaton; two daughters, Beverly Joanne (David) Greenlee and Nancy L. (Phillip) Rubeck; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Rovine Eaton and a half-brother, Chuck Eaton. Memorial services will be at 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm. A private inurnment will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield
