Jack E. Moon

Jack E. Moon, 81, of Plainfield, passed away October 15, 2012. He was born January 21, 1931 to the late Adna and Marie (Atwood) Moon in Indianapolis, IN. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a claims manager for Indiana Insurance Company for 30 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of the VFW. Jack is survived by three sons, Mike (Sandy), John (Jennifer), and Steve (Amanda) Moon; a daughter, Ginger Moon; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Moon. He was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 18, 2012. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 17 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
