Raymond Allen Williams

Raymond Allen Williams, 71, of Plainfield, passed away September 30, 2012 in his residence. He was born July 12, 1941 in Beals, KY to the late Thomas P. and Willie Mae Williams. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired in 2002 from Alimak Elevators in Bridgeport, CT as a journeyman/electrician and service technician. He was a member of IBEW Local 1701 in Owensboro, KY. Funeral services will be in Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 1:15 pm. Friends may also call on Thursday, October 4, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Williams; sons, Richard, Brian (Delia) and Thomas Williams; daughters, MeLinda (Marshall) Adams and Jennifer (Mark) Steffey; sisters, Thelma Sinnet and Margie Moore; brothers, Joseph and Mack Williams; and 10 grandchildren.
