Charles Estle Poole, 99, just 16 days away from his 100th birthday, of Plainfield, passed away September 12, 2012. He was born September 28, 1912 in Peoria, IL to the late Riley and Myrtle (Poynter) Poole. He retired from Chrysler Foundry in 1977 as a welder. He married Nellie P. Blanton on February 24, 1940 in Somerset, KY and she preceded him in death in 2000. Estle was a charter member of Bridgeport Central Baptist Church and Bridgeport Masonic Lodge # 162. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 15, at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Friday, September 14, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Cartersburg. Survivors include 5 sons, Hollis M., Dwight R., Norman G., Michael K. and Rodney P. Poole; sisters, Zella Frazier and Clarice West; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Remember Estle by his favorite saying," Everything is lovely, don't you think".
