Van L. Wilson, 67, of Plainfield, passed away September 8, 2012 in St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 7, 1945 in Hendricks County, IN, to the late Harley and Beulah Wilson. He was a draftsman for RCA for 18 years. He also worked for Roadway Trucking as a dispatcher for 15 years. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion in Danville, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joye J. Wilson and brothers Ronald and Derwood Wilson. He is survived by sons Randall L., Bryan E. (Linda) and Gregory S. Wilson; brothers, Perry, Phillip and David Wilson; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held in Clayton Cemetery.
