Thomas Allen Price
67, Plainfield, died peacefully on Sept 4, 2012, while surrounded by his loved ones. He was an extremely loving, caring, and patient man who did not let disabilities sustained in an automobile accident get in the way of caring and providing for his family. Tom was born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin on December 1, 1944, to the late Lawrence and Myrtle (Sparks) Price. He graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1963 and later graduated from Northland College in 1967. After completing a year at Drake Law School, Tom was drafted into the U.S. Army and became a Counter Intelligence Agent serving in the Vietnam War. Following his military career, he pursued his entrepreneurial dreams and started a business in which he and two other partners owned and operated many restaurants throughout the Midwest. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Camilla D. Price, daughter Leslie Lamkin (Tom), son Jeffery Price (Monica), sister Jackie Merrick (Earl), and brother Jerry Price. He was preceded in death by siblings Carol Vlahakis (Price) and Bob Price.
A private celebration of Tom's life will be held by family.
