Glenn R. Price

Glenn R. Price, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away September 4, 2012. He was born September 2, 1925 to the late Fred and Hazel (Morris) Price in Bridgeport, IN. He was a 1943 graduate of Avon High School. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a lifelong Hendricks County Farmer. He also was a truck driver for Renners Express for over 35 years retiring in 1988. Glenn is survived by his son, Gregory J. Price; a daughter, Cindy D. (Jim) Conner; a brother, Jesse Price; three sisters, Marjorie Coy, Irma Walton and June Rosemeyer; and six grandchildren, Conor Price, Chance and Sarah Osborne, Nick, Nathan, and Lindsay Conner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. (Browning) Price; a son, Fredrick Price; 6 brothers, Robert, John, Frank, William, James and Paul Price; and a sister, Mary Catherine Parsons. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, September 6, 2012 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, September 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
