Gerald B. Rose Sr.

Gerald B. Rose Sr., 87, of Plainfield, passed away September 1, 2012. He was born February 5, 1925 to the late Roy and Hazel (Inez) Rose in Indianapolis, IN. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He worked for Allied Boiler in Indianapolis for 10 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield, and the Forty and Eight. Gerry is survived by his two sons, Billy L. (Doretta) and Gerald B. Rose Jr; and 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Leeta K. Rose. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday, September 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Entombment, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
