Stephen E. Creel

Stephen E. Creel, 47, of Stilesville, passed away July 18, 2012. He was born April 25, 1965 in Phoenix, AZ to the late John and Sarah Creel. Steve worked for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 103 for the past 25 years as a occupational engineer. He had attended the Church of God in Springfield, OH. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 22, at 2:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday, July 21, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Creel; daughters, Jessica (Devin) Stader and Brittany Creel; brothers, David and John Creel; sisters, Peggy Van Dusan, Alice Nickels, Virginia Bergan, Sarah, Ruth and Linda Creel, Rachel Skocy. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Herzog. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
