Betty J. Cross

Betty J. Cross, 86, of Plainfield, passed away July 9, 2012. She was born December 10, 1925 to the late George P. and Margaret M. (Cox) Weese in Greencastle, IN. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Greenwood. Betty is survived by three daughters, Betty J. Chamberlin, D. Kay Landis and Linda M. Garrett; a son, Robert Reeves; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Cross and a daughter, Rose O'Brien. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 14, 2012 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
