Charles A. "Tony" Elliott

Charles A. "Tony" Elliott, 77, of Plainfield, passed away May 15, 2012. He was born May 29, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late James and Margaret Elliott. He was a truck driver 44 years for the Keebler Cookie Company. He and his wife were also foster parents to a number of children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freida Marie Elliott. Tony was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will also be Thursday from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Survivors include children, Michael A. (Nancy) Elliott and Lydia (Daniel) Homeier; brothers, John and James Elliott; sisters, Mary Lou and Joann Elliott; 6 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
