James W. Moran Sr.

James W. Moran Sr., 74, of Indianapolis, passed away May 8, 2012. He was born April 21, 1938 to the late Carson and Lillie (McGowan) Moran in Russell Springs, KY. A private service will be held at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. He worked for General Motors as an assembly line worker for 27 years retiring in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Wooton) Moran; a son, James W. (Penny) Moran Jr.; two daughters, Debbie R. (Tony) Vandevanter, and Angela (Allen) Lee); 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
