Mildred K. "Millie" Roberts

Mildred K. "Millie" Roberts, 92, of Plainfield passed away March 3, 2012. She was born August 3, 1919 to the late Wilbur and Katherine (Kluse) Ray in Shelbyville, IN. She worked as a clerk for JC Penney for 10 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi. She also was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, March 7, 2012, and where friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. She is survived by a son, Brian Craig Roberts; a sister, Jo Ann Smith; a brother, Joe E. Ray; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Leon Roberts, and a sister, Helen Pauline Kaiser. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Susanna Building Fund.
