Ollie Edwin Dare

Ollie Edwin Dare, 79, of Plainfield passed away February 9, 2012 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville. He was born July 28, 1932 in LaBelle, MO to the late Ollie Edwin and Ora B. Dare Sr. He was an Air Force veteran during the Korean War. He was a 50 year member of the International Operating Engineers Local 103, retiring in 2004. Ollie was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church, (800 Dan Jones Road) where a funeral service will take place on Monday, February 13, at 11:00 am. Visitation will also be in the church on Sunday, February 12, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. Entombment will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Dare. Survivors include his wife, Frances Dare; daughters, Deanna (Steve) Pruett of Naples, FL and Denise (Ron) Briley of Arlington, TX; sons, Dean Dare of Greenwood and Troy (Donna) Dare of Avon; sister in law, Ruth Dare; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
