Myrna L. Moon

Myrna L. Moon, 76, of Plainfield, passed away February 4, 2012. She was born August 27, 1935 to the late Louis and Margaret (Mooney) Holzknecht in Memphis, TN. She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2012. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, with the rosary at 3:30 pm, in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Jack Moon; three sons, Mike (Sandy), John (Jennifer), and Steve (Amanda) Moon; a daughter, Ginger Quillen; three brothers, Tom, Larry and Louie Holzknecht; four sisters, Loretta Turpin, Anna Poe, Margie Detty, and Marilee Theiss; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernie Holzkencht.
