Della E. Lombardo

Della E. Hensley Lombardo, 97, of Plainfield, passed away December 22, 2011. She was born October 21, 1914 to the late Edgar and Lillie (Wisner) Butler in Carthesville, MO. She was a greeter at Wal-Mart in Plainfield for 17 years retiring in 2003. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Downey; 5 step daughters, Christine Curtis, Patty, Renee and Jennifer Lombardo, and Annette Such; two brothers Sherlin "Red" and Raymond Butler; a sister Mary Margaret; three grandchildren, Pam Gregory, Charles and Sheri Downey; 2 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandson; and a special friend Jenny Stinnett. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Isom Hensley and Michael Lomabardo. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
