Clarence O. Wolfe

Clarence O. Wolfe, 87, of Plainfield passed away December 18, 2011. He was born April 11, 1924 in Indianapolis to the late Roy and Delce Wolfe. He was a WW II Army veteran,receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Clarence had owned the Pizza Kings in Danville and Plainfield in the early 80's and prior to that he was a co-owner of Wolfe + Swickard Machine Shop. His memberships include Plainfield United Methodist Church, American Legion and the 45th Infantry Association. Funeral services will be Friday, December 23, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Thursday, December 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. Wolfe. Survivors include sons, Bud (Jan), Don (Joan) and Tom (Sherry) Wolfe; daughter, Susan (Ron) Lane; sister, Bonnie Swickard; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
