Nyla June Eccles

Nyla June Eccles, 81, of Plainfield, passed away October 8, 2011. She was born July 14, 1930 in Coalmont, IN to the late Floyd and Gladys Chamberlain. She was a graduate of New Albany School of Cosmotology. Nyla retired in 1993 after 18 years as a real estate broker for F.C. Tucker and Century 21. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Plainfield. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 12, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, October 11, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 pm in Maple Grove Cemetery, Clay City, IN. Survivors include her husband, Charles (Chuck) Eccles; son, Gregory Brent (Beth Ann) Eccles; daughters, Dana (Mike) Cathcart, Lorinda (Leonard) Stutes and Janiene (David)Sturgeon; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
