Nancy E. Pennington

On January 10, 1975, God created a new angel, Nancy E. (Harris) Pennington, who at the young age of 36 succumbed to her death on July 7, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Harris and infant son, Devin Pennington. She is survived by her life partner, Jay Crenshaw; 3 sons, Dustin Julian, 17, Dylan Julian, 13 and Drew Pennington, 10; stepdaughters, Alyssa Crenshaw, 19 and Erin Crenshaw,14; father, Wes Harris; brothers, John and George Harris III; grandmother, Ethel Harris; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 16, at 2:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to her sons through the funeral home.
