Phyllis Noreen Burney

Phyllis Noreen Burney, 69, of Plainfield, passed away June 26, 2011. She was born May 13, 1942 to the late William and Phyllis (Dean) Davies in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She worked for PSI where she repaired meters for over 20 years retiring in 1996. She is survived by a son, Jeffrey K. (Char) Rhodes; three daughters, Tammy D. Padgett, Gayle (Gerald) Romack, and Emily N. (Jerry) DeWeese; a step son, James (Marlene) Burney; a step daughter, Janice Reynolds; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Conrad A. Burney. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, June 30, 2011 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, June 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
