Charles K. Maxwell

Charles K. Maxwell, 78, of Plainfield, passed away June 21, 2011. He was born August of 1932 in Detroit MI to the late James and Rosina Maxwell. He was a US Navy veteran. Chuck was a custom home builder with Maxwell Associates, cost estimator for Falender Homes and Everett I. Brown/Gibraltar Design until his retirement in 2000. Chuck served as president of the Mooresville Lions Club, member of VFW #1111 and was a active charter member at Hope United Presbyterian Church in Plainfield, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 16, at 1:00 pm. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 am until time of service. He was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Gibson. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Margaret Maxwell; daughters, Pamela (Mike) Burback, Linda (Don)Schulze and Jane (David) Johnson; brother, James Maxwell Jr; grandchildren, Scott, Spencer, Natalie, John, Steven and Joe; nieces and nephews, Becky Stalnaker, Bobbi, John and Jim Gibson, Cathy Maxwell, Beth Klein and Breck Maxwell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church or The Gathering Together Hospice.
