Audrey Storie Phillips Merideth

Audrey Phillips Merideth, 91, of Plainfield, passed away May 24, 2011. She was born December 27, 1919 to the late Arthur and Hazel (Blatch) Storie in Madison, IN. She worked in the accounting/accounts receivable department at Allison Division of GM for 27 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Ben Davis Christian Church. She is survived by two sons, Robert J. (Janice), and Donald L. (Wanda) Phillips; a step-daughter, Sherry Bodell; two brothers, Lawrence and Roscoe Storie; a sister, Mary Louise Weber; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Melvin Phillips and Edward Merideth and a sister, Nadine Cole. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, May 28, 2011 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday, May 27 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial, Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis Hospice.
