Michael Dee Young

Michael Dee Young, 66, of Plainfield, passed away May 22, 2011. He was born December 15, 1944 to the late Raymond D. and Georgia (Wallace) Young in Indianapolis, IN. He was a truck driver for Laibe Corp for 5 years retiring in 2005. He attended the Eternal Life Baptist Church in Mooresville and was a member of the Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #162 and the Plainfield Eagles #3207. He is survived by his wife, Norma D. (Wall) Young; two sons, Michael D. Jr., and Raymond D. Young; a brother, David Young; five sisters, Kathleen Hamilton, Marie Rosier, Vera Crouse, Genevive Stinson and Patty Rettig; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.
