Ralph B. Stout

Ralph B. Stout, 96, of Plainfield, passed away May 15, 2011. He was born April 17, 1915 to the late Howard and Bessie (Murray) Stout in Hendricks County near Bridgeport. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Center Community Church, Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #162, American Legion Post 329, and the UAW Local 1111. He is survived by four step-sons, Roger, Carl, Gordon (Irene) and Billy (Wanda) Castetter; a brother, Noble (Patricia) Stout: 21 step-grandchildren and 24 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora (Archer) Stout; two step-sons, Harold and Lowell Castetter; a step-daughter, Judy Ann Wells; a brother, Carlos Jack Stout; and a sister, Margaret Louise Parsons. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday May 18, 2011 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday May 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
