Donald William Tallent

Donald William Tallent, 70, of Plainfield, passed away May 10, 2011 in his residence. He was born November 18, 1940 in Jonesboro, AR to the late Leonard "Buster" and Mattie Tallent. He was a former fireman/emt 7 years for Plainfield Fire Department. He also worked 24 years as a balance technician for Horner Electric in Indianapolis. Don was a member of Plainfield Bible Church (752 Dan Jones Rd.) where a funeral will be held on Thursday, May 12, at 10:30 am. Visitation will also be at the church on Wednesday, May 11, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Donna (Newlin) Tallent; sons, Daniel W. (Jennifer) and Dennis W. (Kari) Tallent; daughters, Dalene E. (Gordon) Nelson and Danette J. (John) Newby; brothers, Lee, Jerry and Jim Tallent; sister, Virginia Phillips; 13 grandchildren.
