Chester M. Ludlow

Chester M. Ludlow, 92, of Plainfield, formerly of Fillmore, passed away April 21, 2011. He was born February 25, 1919 in Hendricks County to the late Blanch and Lorena Ludlow. Chester was a WW II Army veteran. He retired as an inspector for Bryant Heating and A/C. His memberships include Stilesville Christian Church, Greencastle American Legion and VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Buis Ludlow and sister, Marian Smith. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 23, at 1:00 pm in Stilesville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Survivors include a son, Harry (Denise) Ludlow; daughter, Beth (Harold) Risk; step daughter, Janie (Tom) Sharp-Smith; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
