Joellen Halbert

Joellen Halbert, 85, of Plainfield, passed away March 28, 2011. She was born March 20, 1926 in Seymour, IN to the late John and Mary Abel. She was a homemaker and member of Plainfield Christian Church. Funeral services will be Friday, April 1, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Thursday, March 31, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cordell F. Halbert. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Halbert; sons, Rick (Liz) and Mike (Kathy) Halbert; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hendricks County Humane Society.
