Martha Rose (Rosie) Dages

Martha Rose (Rosie) Dages, 71, of Plainfield, passed away March 25, 2011. She was born July 11, 1939 in Daviess County, IN to the late Andrew and Esther Doyle. She was a member and volunteer at St. Susanna Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 30 at 10:00 am. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She loved craft work, including designing bouquets for weddings. She was past president of St. Susanna's Women's Club and also helped with the mother/daughter banquets. Rosie was also an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie and Dick Doyle. Survivors include her husband, Tom Dages; sons, Steve, Greg (Melanie), Chris (Karen), Patrick (Kelly) Dages; daughter in-law, Stephanie Commins; brother, Donnie (Nancy) Doyle; sisters, Sue (Bob) Showalter, Dosia (Kenny) Mangin and Jean (Ed) Strange; sister in-law, Paula Doyle; grandchildren, Maks, Justin, and Kyra Rose Dages; step grandchildren, Marianne (Todd) McCall, Taylor Wingo and Mitchell Commins; step great grandchild, Leah McCall; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Susanna Catholic Church.
