Margaret "Pat" Bowen

Margaret "Pat" Bowen, 85, of Plainfield, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away March 22, 2011. She was born March 8, 1926 to the late Jeremiah and Margaret (Reagan) McCarthy in Skibereen, Ireland. She worked as a binder for Howard W. Sams Co in Indianapolis for 27 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of the TBPA. Pat is survived by two sons, Alan J. (Pat), and Mark J. (Andrea) Bowen; two daughters, Maureen A. Bowen and Sharon K. Crist; a brother, John McCarthy; two sisters, Kathleen Wulf and Eileen Stephen; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Bowen and a sister Mary (Mae) Manning. A memorial visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
