Martha J. Scott

Martha J. Scott, 80, of Greenfield, passed away March 21, 2011. She was born July 28, 1930 in Bloomington, IN to the late Hassell and Lillie Mitchell. She was a homemaker and member of Hope Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Raymond L. and Larry R. Scott. Also, preceding her in death are siblings, Marvin, Donald and Robert Mitchell, Marie Bordon,Georgeanna Miller,Kathryn Reiber and Irene Sparks. Funeral services will be Friday, March 25, at 3:30 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 1:30 pm until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her sons, Terry and Gary Scott; brothers, John and Michael Mitchell; sister, Betty Smith; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
