Albert N. Sheets

Albert N. Sheets, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away February 20, 2011. He was born in Middletown, IN May 22, 1925 to the late Earl and Thelma Sheets. He was a WW II Army veteran. Albert worked in the missile industry at Vandenburg Air Force Base. He also was a tool and die maker for Link-Belt in Indianapolis and in later years for FMC in Chino, CA retiring in 1990. His memberships include Bridgeport Central Baptist Church and the NRA. Albert was an avid HAM radio operator for many years. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 23, at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday, February 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Jean Sheets; sons, Craig (Donna), Aaron (Terry) and David Sheets; daughter, Jennifer (Donald) Ahonen; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
