Dorothy J. Johnson

Dorothy J. King Johnson, age 85, of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Plainfield,IN passed away on February 8, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was born September 2, 1925 to the late Clarence and Nora (Spratt) King in Indianapolis. She was a member of Dandridge First United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Richard Johnson; daughter, Debbie Johnson and sister, Hilda Collins. She is survived by son, Donald Johnson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call one hour prior to services on Saturday. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
