Marie Morton

Marie Morton, 90, of Avon, IN passed away December 26, 2010. She was born June 3, 1920 in East Chicago, IN to the late James H. and Lillian Baker II. She was an assistant manager many years for Miles Paint Store in Glen Park, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Van E. Morton. The family would like to thank The Village of Avon Health Care and New Hope Hospice for their compassionate care and support. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Survivors include a son, Edward A. (Linda) Morton; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
