David W. Borcherding

David W. Borcherding, 72, of Plainfield, passed away December 22, 2010. He was born September 15, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Walter and Margaret Borcherding. David was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was an independent manufacturers sales representative for many years. He loved boating in Michigan as well as antique boats and gospel music. Funeral services will be Monday, December 27, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Dan McMartin. Survivors include his wife, Laura (Hutchens) Borcherding;son, John Borcherding; daughter, Holly Wentworth; stepdaughter, B.A. McMartin; brother, Eric Borcherding.
